Who we are

The Leader's Diagnostic is a trading name of Delicate Persuasion Limited (company number 9523727), whose registered office is at The Glen, Knutsford Old Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington, WA4 2LD. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What data we collect

We only collect information necessary to provide our services properly:

• Enquiries — if you email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to include.
• Usage information — anonymised, consent-based website analytics that help us understand how visitors use the site (see Cookies and analytics below).
• Business & related information — if you use the diagnostic itself, limited to the questions and answers necessary to prepare your reports.
• Consent records — confirmation of your cookie choice.

We do not collect sensitive personal data or unnecessary information.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, with Google's Consent Mode v2 controlling it. Analytics is denied by default: no analytics script is requested until you actively choose "Allow analytics" in the cookie banner. If you choose "No thanks", or simply don't respond, analytics stays off.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and uses a pseudonymous identifier to distinguish repeat visits. Under UK GDPR, identifiers like these can count as personal data, even though they don't identify you by name; we do not claim otherwise. You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie banner, which removes these cookies where the browser allows it.

Beyond that, we also record a small number of custom events (for example, that a particular button was clicked and roughly where on the page). These events are deliberately built to never carry your name, email address, diagnostic answers or account identifiers.

You are in full control of your choice via the cookie preferences link in the site footer. Non-essential cookies are never activated without your permission.

Signing in to the Service

If you sign in to use the diagnostic itself, Supabase (our authentication provider) sets an essential session cookie so you can stay signed in as you move between screens. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to work: it is not analytics, it is separate from the consent-based Google Analytics described above, it is never used for advertising or tracking, and it cannot be declined while remaining signed in. It exists only within the logged-in application, not on the public pages of this website.

Lawful basis for processing

We process your data under the lawful bases set out in UK GDPR:

• Contractual necessity — to provide the diagnostic or respond to a request you make.
• Consent — for analytics cookies, which you can grant or withdraw at any time.
• Legitimate interests — for basic, anonymised service improvement that doesn't rely on analytics cookies.

How we store your data

Your personal information is stored securely, accessed only by authorised personnel, and never sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including providing and administering the Service, maintaining security, meeting legal or regulatory obligations, and resolving disputes. Ending or expiring access to Full TLD does not by itself delete the underlying information. You may contact us about deletion of your personal information, subject to any information we are required or permitted to retain.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to your data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Object to certain processing
• Request data portability

Third-party services

We use a small number of service providers to provide the Service:

• Vercel — hosts this website.
• Google Analytics — consent-based usage analytics on this website only (see Cookies and analytics above).
• Supabase — provides authentication and secure data storage for your account and diagnostic answers.
• Railway — hosts the deterministic, rule-based analysis pipeline that turns your diagnostic answers into reports. This processing is not artificial intelligence: your diagnostic answers are never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, or any other generative-AI provider.
• Resend — used only for a narrow set of internal, operational email alerts to our own team. It does not process your diagnostic answers or other founder-facing content.

Each operates under its own privacy terms and, where it processes personal data on our behalf, is expected to protect it to UK GDPR standards.

Data security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information and prevent unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this notice occasionally to reflect regulatory changes or improvements to our services. The latest version will always be available on this page once it is published.
